Nimona took a long road to come to fruition, but now that it’s here it’s a wonderful adaptation of a graphic novel collected in 2015. Fantastic characters, beautiful art and transformations, with a kind message too.

GC13 and David discuss The End of the Beginning from Unicorn: Warriors Eternal.

Tell me if you’ve heard this before: the heroes all join together into one body to confront evil. At least it goes better for them this time than it did the last… And Anubis is always in style.

With no more episodes announced it’s certainly a cruel tease of an episode title, but it very much encapsulates how the episode end feels. We can only hope there’s more Unicorn: Warriors Eternal to come, otherwise the series barely got to begin before it ended.

As redundant as a mystery of secrets may be, we’ve come across another exciting episode of Unicorn: Warriors Eternal. The Inspector finally realizes that magic is real, and we meet the famous Otto and discover that he is the one who will eventually create Copernicus.

The London of Unicorn: Warriors Eternal is quite beautiful, and it’s a shame we only get to spend ten episodes in it.

This was definitely a memorable episode—inside Melinda’s memories, no less! While the events probably didn’t take place with Emma’s involvement, we have every reason to believe what we saw accurately described Morgan’s fate—explaining while Melinda is such a sourpuss.

But with a backstory like that, we figure she’s totally earned it. Merlin seems to have taken things pretty hard too, and he’s had a long life to become accustomed to tragedy. How sad.

It’s the middle episode of a trio of closely linked episodes. We start off with a chase through the London city streets, but we end up on a haunted/living ship that is a clear and present danger to our heroes.

Seng/Alfie has it worse than everyone else though: not only is he cut off from the spirit world, a whole new sense he’s just been opened up to, but he’s also fading away. Thank goodness Copernicus is around to bring some levity to the situation.
