Let’s get the most important thing out of the way first: Stevonnie is the best Yoshi, period. Also, the outfit that results when Connie is wearing her training garb is just great. (We may not be worried about that diamond that ends up on the outfit, but that can’t be accidental.)
So it was a very emotional episode with a very healthy message. Steven’s kind of been going through a lot of stuff lately, with plenty for him to be anxious about. The appearance of his mother’s face in his list of anxieties? Not surprising, given how central she is to everything that’s going on with him. It’s still sad though.
We have seen the future, and we know that we want to see this episode! (On Thursday, September 1 at 7:00 PM. We have foreseen it!)

Mindful Education has made us mostly wonder about previous episodes of the show: we’ve seen what it looks like from the inside when Stevonnie is under stress and hallucinating, but we’ve seen other fusions de-fuse as well. Have any of them been hallucinating at the time of their de-fusion?
Fusion episode = Fusion facts! Finally we know a bit more about what we’ve seen going on inside Stevonnie’s head, and we’ve seen a bit of what’s going on in the deeper portions of Steven’s head (his Vault, if you’ll permit the reference to Adventure Time).
They didn’t waste much time. Not only is the clip up on Cartoon Network’s YouTube channel, but Aivi and Surasshu have posted Here Comes A Thought (3:21) from Mindful Education. Get to jamming!
Mindful Education was definitely a character episode. It doesn’t look like we got much lore or speculation out of it, but we should definitely get some mileage out of the close look at fusion we got (we don’t get nearly enough of those).
