Lunar Sea Spire podcast episode 136: Crack the Whip

GC13 and Sophia talk about Crack the Whip (which, despite popular demand, was about Amethyst rather than being a crossover with Johnny Test 😉 ).

Despite some initial microphone difficulties, it’s an episode worth listening to because Crack the Whip is an episode worth watching. It has Stevonnie riding Lion into battle, for crying out loud. What more could you want? Perhaps the start of a character arc for Amethyst? (Or at least the final phase of her big one.)

Lion is just great by the way. Whether he’s riding in a ferris wheel, helping bother seagulls, or simply dressed for a rave he’s fun to have around (even if it’s rather suspicious that he’d just so happen to be around now…).

Just remember: in the heat of battle, you’re not going to have a swimsuit.

I have been listening to the podcast since around episode 30, every couple of weeks I will download the new episodes of the podcast. I absolutely love it! It feels like the LSP has become it’s own entity, enjoyable separate from the show. When a new episode of Steven Universe comes out I am just as exited about it as I am exited about the new LSP episode you guys will record. It feels like you all have become friends of mine, I love learning new things about you and feeling like I am “hanging out” with you. Sometimes when I talk about SU with people I know I will say things like, “GC brought up that same theory.” As if I know you guys personally and had a conversation with you the other day XD.
It has been making me nervous recently with the podcast having fewer and fewer people attending each episode. The first time GC recorded an episode alone I was scared the podcast would end… Of course the podcast must end eventually, likely just after the end of SU. And the end of both these things will hurt, just the thought of the SU community disbanding, for lack of a better word; “hurts”
Anyway, thank you for recording, I love all you guys. 😀

(Are you considering making a new podcast after this one ends?)

Thanks for being a listener! We technically owe the world a Samurai Jack podcast, and there’s a good chance of us trying to do something for OK KO too. And since Mr. Burnett is working on it, we might have to at least talk about Craig of the Creek from time to time… I guess it’s just a question of schedules at this point. Still, we can hope for the world. 🙂
