GC13 and Sophia discuss the second batch of minisodes (though the first batch to initially be called that, with the first batch being called online shorts): Cooking With Lion, Gem Karaoke, Steven Reacts, Video Chat, and Steven’s Song Time.
With five pieces of new content clocking in at roughly the length of a full episode there’s bound to be something there for you. Were you excited to see a “full” episode of the Crying Breakfast Friends? Did it astound you to learn that Samantha Pepper is the mind behind our second-favorite show about people crying?

I just thought of something odd. Lapis shouldn’t be unfamiliar with the concept of someone appearing on a screen. For one, she had already been watching Camp Pining Hearts with Peridot, and she also contacted everyone in The Message presumably could send and receive a visual signal.
You could argue that she didn’t need to understand that she was sending a video message to send out her warning to Steven. She could have just slipped into a communication center pressed record then hit send, without really understanding how it all worked. She could also think of Camp Pinning Harts as a simulation not involving real people. The most logical explanation though is that she panicked and was not thinking rationally. Our fears don’t always make sense, especially when they are rooted in the kind of trauma Lapis experienced.
I’m not sure if this is one of the things Sophia was trying to come up with at 24:30, but “Cooking with Lion” reminded me of the “Steven Chewniverse” bit from one of the early comics, with Steven explaining how to make an Everything Bagel Dog.
I’ve been away for a bit. Time to catch back up on these episodes with you guys! Definitely missed you all~! <3

It’s almost like…her Gem…has…some…extra…pink…in…it… >:U
Also Rose Quartz seems to be the only Rose Quartz who can heal cuz her healing powers are apparently a big deal, so *why* does *our* Rose Quartz have that power. A power that can affect the well-being of a Gem. Like the 3 other diamonds combining their power to produce corruption in Gems. Pink Diamond having an ability to *heal* Gems would be perfect…just…too perfect.

Also, still love these GC and Sofia episodes, you guys are gonna eventually replace Hunter as my favorites if Hunter isn’t careful!!! >:T
