This was definitely an episode about the characters. As expected we got to see a lot of Ronaldo, but Lars got his share of the spotlight too. Plus, Sadie was right there with the rest of them revealing a bit more about her character as well.
The lore haul might not be too big this week, but… Well, let’s just say we’re not completely empty-handed. 🙂

Yeah definitely a less extreme episode following a even bigger one. Still enjoyed it and I like how they’re connecting the secondary characters like this.
Yeah, we learned that some corrupted Gems/Gem artifacts can possess entire buildings. We know that some shards can give motion and conciousness to clothes/armors, but a Gem at the size we saw at the Lighthouse was capable of possessing a buidling, though I wonder why it activated at that moment in specific, because it seems that Ronaldo spend a lot of time in that Lighyhouse, and it was attacked and damaged before, when the Crystal Gems went to rescue Steven from Ronaldo in “Keep Beach City Weird”, why it didn’t reacted that time? Could it sense powerful Gem-beings in there and consider them a big threat?

Yeah, perhaps it decided not to act when the Crystal Gems were there, as they might go after it. Besides, maybe it had already set its sights on Lars.
Still, interesting observation: the lighthouse seems to have been repaired since Keep Beach City Weird!. It also (kind of) repaired that door after they broke it down. Did someone fix the wall, or did it fix itself?
