Well, Hulu has some good news for us: all season-one episodes of Steven Universe (in addition to other Cartoon Network and Adult Swim shows) will be available to stream on Hulu Plus. This all starts on May 1, so if you’ve been looking to get some mileage out of your subscription to Hulu Plus then this should help you out (and give you a great reason to go back through the early episodes again).
It’s always good to see another place for Steven fans to check out old episodes. Happy watching!
As expected, there’s little lore in this episode. Still, come curious elements were mentioned, as well as a current project the Crystal Gems are undertaking which makes a lot of sense and so gives us some ideas about what might happen later in the season.
Of more immediate note, however: Mama Sadie!

Another calm episode that looks like it’s more about the characters than the show’s overarching plot, that’s what you can expect. The commercials have actually revealed a lot about the episode, or so it would seem. All the summary says is that Steven and Connie help Jamie, and while the commercials seem to show what they’re not helping him with, it’s still an easy bet that it came by the title “Love Letters” honestly.
So yeah, let’s throw out a warm welcome for Love Letters and the rest of season two! It’s been a few weeks going through the backlog, so it’s time to get down to it. Definitely make sure to be there on the 23rd at 5:30 PM EDT.
Do not panic. The omission of Pearl from the episode summary is likely completely innocuous. Do not be alarmed. Everything is going to be alright! You’ll see. On Thursday, April 30 at 5:30 PM everything will be completely fine!

GC13 (aka TheRealGC13), Dakota, and Hunter discuss the last season one episode to air, Shirt Club. With season one finally finished (and after only three season two episodes have aired), it is officially on.
It may have aired a bit out of order, but even if there’s some disagreement over how good the episode is, everyone’s glad we got Shirt Club. Having a bit more time with Mayor Dewey is especially enjoyed, as is the fact that Pearl (aka Bird Mom) seemed to have turned her stool into a perch.
Now that we have (most of) season two ahead of us, we can ask the tough questions: When will Greg go on tour to promote Water Witch? When will Steven’s birthday be? And when do we get to see Garnet and Pearl fuse!?!
Poor Steven. When he found out that Buck thought his drawing was bad, and that he wouldn’t stop making it into shirts, he felt awful. It didn’t help that the Crystal Gems wouldn’t solve the problem, either. Still, Steven persevered and made them all understand, putting smiles across the town’s faces. To commemorate his brief distress, Peedee’s Blues is this week’s song of the week.

Ah, it’s finally here: the last bit of speculation fueled by #StevenBomb. This is probably the hardest piece to write, which is saying something considering that we also wrote two pieces of speculation about the homeworld despite getting no closer to the homeworld than a ship that never made it far out of Earth’s orbit.
But the rebellion is never spoken of much, and while the Crystal Gems are tight-lipped about the homeworld as well some facts force their way through. That doesn’t mean there’s nothing to go on about the rebellion, just that the information about it isn’t as rich.
It’s another one of those “character episodes” we’ve been having so many of lately, since #StevenBomb forced an adjustment to the schedule that clustered a bunch of character episodes together. We’re crafty though, and we’ve sniffed out at least something lore-related to consider in Shirt Club.
