Lunar Sea Spire podcast episode 16: Shirt Club

PodcastTitleGC13 (aka TheRealGC13), Dakota, and Hunter discuss the last season one episode to airShirt Club. With season one finally finished (and after only three season two episodes have aired), it is officially on.

It may have aired a bit out of order, but even if there’s some disagreement over how good the episode is, everyone’s glad we got Shirt Club. Having a bit more time with Mayor Dewey is especially enjoyed, as is the fact that Pearl (aka Bird Mom) seemed to have turned her stool into a perch.

Now that we have (most of) season two ahead of us, we can ask the tough questions: When will Greg go on tour to promote Water Witch? When will Steven’s birthday be? And when do we get to see Garnet and Pearl fuse!?!

Preach! I don’t know how anyone could watch Steven shirt the mayor and not think “I love this episode.” It might be sneople-related… I’ll have to contact Ronaldo so he can investigate further. >.>

Definitely a weaker episode but doesn’t mean it’s bad.

By the way the Birthday episode i can see it probably going that way though it sounds pretty cliche. Can’t think of any other way a plot could happen.

The gems have SOME means of paying for things. Pearl paid for well over twenty Cookie Cats that Amethyst stole, which had to cost at least 20 bucks. I can’t imagine that she would carry paper bills on her (it would get damaged in combat) so she must keep money in her gem or maybe she has a credit or debit card. (not a gold card, but a PEARL card)

Also, now i want fan art of Pearl using her new bird perch…while dressed as a viking (which we still need).

I want an episode where Marty comes back with some new superstar kid (maybe he recruits Sour Cream as a professional superstar DJ) and Greg and Sour Cream have a music-off.

I really want Jasper to come back as a friendly. I imagine that she is highly respected as a war veteran. I also imagine that if Yellow Diamond found out she failed a simple mission, there would be punishments inbound. Jasper might be quick to change sides if Homeworld decides to destroy her (and more likely, Peridot).
