We still know so little about the Diamonds, especially White Diamond though Pink is still quite new to us as well. Homeworld is also still quite mysterious, both in how it works and why it does what it does.

GC13 and David discuss the (current) peak of Aquamarine’s glory: I Am My Mom.

It’s the second of three episodes Aquamarine has been in so far, and she doesn’t let us down. Even Topaz is a sweetheart, protecting Connie from Amethyst’s questionable attempt to rip her out and then attacking weakly enough for Connie to block despite being able to break Steven’s bubble with a single strike.

And now Steven is on his way to Homeworld. It’s always his decisions that teach us interesting things, since he never asks followup questions.

Peridot mentioned that her height was indicative of her rarity and importance, but we’re still no closer to understanding what height actually means for a Gem. (Aquamarine sure doesn’t have much of it.)

Are there more Gems like Steven? The show hasn’t been afraid to let its characters be wrong before.
