Cartoon Network May 2020 Ratings Report

Cartoon Network got the last of its weekly runs out of its system in May. Teen Titans Go wins the month again by airing a single two-parter, but Craig of the Creek wins the weekly premiers by a mile with a 361,000 viewer average. Thundercats Roar is far down to an average of 251,000, and while Total Dramarama also took a big hit it’s still at 310,000. Victor and Valentino managed to hang in there at 315,000.

Sunday’s numbers are all below 200,000 viewers: Bakugan at 191,00, Transformers Cyberverse at 185,000, and Power Players at 188,000. Even the last episode of DC Super Hero Girls’s run, #CrashCourse, could only manage 198,000 viewers.

Vindicators 3: My Favorite Rick and Morty Episode

Vindicators 3 may not be the most popular episode of Rick and Morty around (see what it did to the poor Whirly Dirly Conspiracy), but, I’m sorry, it’s my favorite episode of the series.

Of course trying to explain why something is your favorite episode is actually pretty hard. So why does Vindicators 3 stand out for me among all of the other episodes of Rick and Morty? I suppose we’ll just have to look at a few of its positive attributes.

Steven Universe’s Glass of Time: Steven and the Stevens Had a Happy Ending

Even after the end of Steven Universe: Future, people still wonder if Steven and the Stevens secretly had a dark ending. There were a lot of Stevens that disappeared when the Glass of Time was destroyed, and we know Steven is pretty crucial to Earth’s safety in the main Steven Universe timeline. If there were any timelines missing their Steven, they’d be a lot less happy.

Thankfully, Steven Universe’s flirtation with time travel has a happy ending: Stevens weren’t snatched from alternate timelines in Steven and the Stevens, they were created with magical sand. This is why the Diamonds never tried to use the Glass of Time to save Pink from being shattered: it can only create a new past, never alter the real one.
