We go from Steven “practicing” driving by imagining his own movie trailer to Stevonnie nearly winning a race despite never having driven before. We’re going to go with “a fusion is more than the sum of its parts” to soothe our minds for now, but the question shall remain.
Real talk though, Dire Dire Drift (2:27) is an amazing song. We’re accustomed to Steven Universe having a great soundtrack, but the race’s theme is just on a whole other level.
