Aivi and Surasshu post: Three highly requested tracks

garnetkeytarThis was some great news. A few days ago, Aivi and Surasshu posted three tracks that were highly requested by the fandom. Most notable (and not just because GC13 really likes the song) is Fusion Disco (the track from the beginning of Alone Together), but there is also the version of Sardonyx’s theme from when Sardonyx and Smoky Quartz meet, and the song playing in the background when Jasper confronts Lapis in Alone at Sea.

Lunar Sea Spire podcast episode 107: Future Vision

PodcastTitleGC13 and Sophia finish the retro episode discussions by talking about that wonderful kettle of fish: Future Vision.

It’s fun, but boy does the existence of future vision make some things hard to theorize about. We manage though!

Whether you gotta go quickly, or whether you’re still in the Ninja Squad, you can’t deny that future vision is at least a very consequential power. It might even be stronger than drinking coffee for breakfast.

If you ever have the opportunity to get a high-five from Lars though, you better take it—those chances don’t come around often.

Steven Universe special comic to release in December 2016

kaboom-stevenuniverse-2016special-a-mainOkay, it’s been a little while since new Steven Universe comics have come out, but Boom! has the goods for us this December. According to their December 2016 solicitations, we’ll be getting a forty-page special comic focusing on Beach City and its residents.

It will cost you eight dollars when it comes out in December, but if you enjoyed the previous Steven Universe comics it will definitely be worth it.

Lunar Sea Spire podcast episode 106: The Test

PodcastTitleGC13 and Sophia discuss one of our two old episodes waiting to be talked about, and we promise it’s not something we planned behind your backs (since we did say it was a possibility last week).

Beyond making us really want a ukulele showdown, this is an episode really showcasing what a great leader Steven can be. It also really shows off how much he and the Crystal Gems care about each other, always wanting what’s best for the other.

There’s only one more old episode left. Then, it’s time to talk about the Steven Nuke!

So, where do you stand on the whole even vs easier debate?

Lunar Sea Spire podcast episode 105: Onion Gang

PodcastTitleGC13 and Hunter discuss the last new episode of Steven Universe before the new break in the schedule, Onion Gang.

So we can finally put Onion into context: he’s definitely not the only strange kid around, it’s just that he doesn’t get to meet up with his friends when it isn’t summer time.

The episode is cute, and so is Onion’s gang of friends. Well, mostly. When they’re not egging Steven on to execute the winner of the bug race. Who knows what the deal with that was?

Anyway, back to reviewing old episodes! There are two season one episodes left that don’t have podcast episodes, and a whole bunch of Steven Nuke episodes!

  2. Teen Titans Go! at 6:00 with 1,225,000

Immediate reaction to Onion Gang

Well, that makes it two weeks in a row without much in the way of lore information. This time we didn’t even get a smidgen of a timeline update!

Anyway, Steven Universe is back on break for now, so it will be a little while until the next new episode airs.
