Three season one episodes shifted to season two

Oh, this is messy. So now we have two seasons, one of 49 episodes and one of 55. Except some episodes from that second season were actually produced with the first season, so we have to make the distinction between production seasons and airing seasons, and…

Yeah, its makes our heads hurt too, but Matt …

What to expect from Marble Madness

Well there’s nothing like a crazy schedule change to make us want to reconsider the hype, but even though the droid in Marble Madness is a giant flask robonoid rather than another Red Eye we’re still calling this as one that will be super-interesting for us lore nerds.

Seriously, it came from space. Space is where …

Many new episodes to air March 9-13, 2015

Well forget the regular schedule of one new episode a week: Cartoon Network’s is planning to throw out at least one new episode a day next week. It would be exciting! But also confusing. Normally we’d just get Rose’s Scabbard on Thursday, but Ian Jones-Quartey has confirmed via his Twitter account that this is not only happening but …

Song of the week: Big Fat Zucchini

Wow. Amethyst. Seriously. Not cool. The song may originally be about Steven, and Amethyst may have been brought to her senses, but in the heat of the moment she was certainly a big fat meanie zucchini. That’s why Big Fat Zucchini is this week’s song of the week. Now who brought the linguine?

What could Maximum Capacity mean?

A character episode. That’s what Maximum Capacity is. And we still find things to speculate about. Someone help us: we think we have a problem.

What we learned from Maximum Capacity

Maximum Capacity is an episode centering on Amethyst and Greg (and Li’l Butler, of course, but that hardly needs to be mentioned); it’s not the kind of episode where we find clues about the conflict in the past or hints about the coming storm.

There’s one big character-related issue to talk about, however, so we’ll spill …

Ratings for Maximum Capacity

Another week, another flirtation with the two million mark. This week Steven Universe managed to get 1,969,000 viewers for the premier of Maximum Capacity, putting it back in the second-place slot.

Here’s how Cartoon Network’s premiers looked this week:

Teen Titans Go at 6:00 with 2,332,000 Steven Universe at 6:30 with 1,969,000 Adventure Time at 7:00 …

Immediate reaction to Maximum Capacity

Ooooooh… Looks like we had the right idea, just the wrong character. 🙂

This is another character episode; we’ll be hard-pressed to dig through it for some serious lore implications, but speculation? We think we’ll be able to manage that.

We also forgot to mention: the sweaters!
