    I always took it as she loved the idea of pie, relative to other foodstuffs. She said she doesn’t like eating, but maybe she appreciates food? Either way, my head-canon is stable 😀

    Pearl was different. Her Gem has been kinda blue in the recent episodes. Not white or yellowish, it was definitely kinda pale blue in the past couple episodes. She was a bit more…detailed I guess? Reminded me of her early appearances in the first few episodes where she kinda stood out and was a bit less cartoony than the others.

    Consider this:

    Maybe Pearl doesn’t like pie to eat.

    Maybe she just likes how circular and perfect pies are.

    Also Lapis has a much lighter blue hue to her than the last time she appeared.
