um hey i was wonderin if i could maybe join your podcasts sometimes because i have a lot of theories and speculations and i wanted to let a huge group of people with the same interest know
I thought I’d do well based on the first question, but then was quickly proven wrong. I still got more than I expected. These should happen more often. There’s still a lot of obscure, pointless trivia to be mined for questions.
I think my favorite exchange was:
GC: In Lil Butler, when did the Richingtons move next door?
Sophia: Season 3.
Hunter: HOW DO YOU KNOW THIS!? HOW? You giant NERD!
The best part is that I got that one because someone–might have been here but might’ve been someone on Tumblr–was posing a theory that, given SU’s propensity to use fictional media for foreshadowing, someone (possibly Yellow Diamond) would “move in” during Season 3 and things would get “really good”.
*Maniacal laughter in the background.*
Nice job, Sophia, and this is now my favorite episode. The CaptainFlambo round was cool since I had the whole thing in front of me. Overall, the only one I missed was the question about Joe Rock, so I am a proud nerd. XD
GC: As mentioned in Joking Victim, what was the video game Sadie had to purchase for Lars?

Hey everybody, I wanted to bounce a theory of you guy.
I was watching this video

and i had an idea, what if rose created humans.
what if she was sent to earth to supervise the kindergarten or went as some sort of royal visit
and then discovered that she could create and manipulate plant life and flowers and started experimenting
and ended up creating humans.
It explains why she loves humans so much and why she finds them so interesting, because she created them from nothing and all of the sudden these amazing creative creatures appeared doing things gems cant
It also explains how she was able to create a womb for steven because she created humans and maybe even the womb as a way to reproduce and show them off to home world.
When home world saw humans they became scared and believed them to be abominations and tried to destroy them, as has happened many times within our own history.
Another thing i thought of is that i think Steven created lion.
We know he can create life as we saw in the watermelon stevens but what if lion is a astral projection like the gems are or how pearl could create training bots of herself and they were blue.
He created them when he was left alone for the first time on a mission because it was to dangerous and he created a friend. We also know that the gems can pull weapons and other things out of their gems like maybe Garnets glasses.
So the extra dimensional plane inside lion is where the weapons (and thousands of Garnet glasses) are stored and where gems go when they get poofed.
This a way for steven to access some of his latent potential and in some ways rose’s subconscious was passed onto Lion.
Also when you guys talked about Steven’s aging in the last episode or so,
I agree that his aging is based on mentality and neither the crystal gems or Mr.Universe understand how a half human, half gem ages since he is the first.
And technically, he should be able to die because since he can control his aging why wouldn’t he just keep reverting back to his 20’s, 30’s or 40’s forever.
Just wanted to bounce things off you guys since i dont have anyone to talk to about this and since you know the show much better than me, i was hoping you could tell me how plausible those ideas are maybe on here or on a discussion on the podcast to would be great.
