Ratings for Catch and Release

Well, we’ve learned that pulling most of the premiers doesn’t help ratings, and that filling more than half of their schedule with┬áTeen Titans Go! (they’re a fourteen-hour network thanks to the ten hours used for Adult Swim) doesn’t get the remaining premiers better ratings either.

Catch and Release, for all of its hype, only got 1,386,000 viewers, though that was still enough to get it the top spot. Here’s how the premiers looked:

  1. Steven Universe at 5:30 with 1,386,000
  2. Wabbit at 5:00 with 1,377,000
  3. The Ridonculous Race at 7:30 with 1,294,000

OT – but had to see Wabbit – it is much better than Buzz Bunny (if you remember that fiasco) but a long way from Animaniacs and far from the original Looney Tunes.

With more premiers comes more viewers I guess.

Right now Cartoon Network is at least 50% teen titans go. While I understand that it is a popular show that pulls in lots of viewers, they really should add more variety to their daytime rerun list.
