Many new episode titles on CartoonNetwork.com

heyjamieYou may have been hearing some excited chatter around the Steven Universe fandom: Cartoon Network has listed a whole bunch of episode titles on their site. While Mr. Burnett may regard it as a leak, we think that if Cartoon Network hasn’t taken them down after a couple of days then it should be fair game for us.

Labeled as episodes sixteen and seventeen it shows the next two episodes and their summaries as being:

  • Nightmare Hospital: Steven and Connie sneak into a hospital to recover Rose’s Sword.
  • Catch and Release: We finally see inside Steven’s bathroom.

There is also a large list of other episode titles without summaries, though most of these are supposedly very much out of order (again, so says Mr. Burnett). Also, the three episode titles earlier revealed the same way are conspicuously absent.

  • Same Old World
  • Hit the Diamond
  • Steven Floats
  • Too Short to Ride
  • Drop Beat Dad
  • Mr. Greg
  • The New Lars
  • Beach City Drift
  • Restaurant Wars
  • Kiki’s Pizza Delivery Service
  • Monster Reunion
  • Alone at Sea
  • Greg the Babysitter
  • Gem Hunt
  • Crack the Whip
  • Steven vs Amethyst

That brings our list of aired episodes and episodes we’ve been given titles for up to thirty-three (thirty-six if you count the three previously revealed episodes). Also listed are two more TBA episodes, though that would still leave us well short of a full season.

We really won’t know what to make of these episode titles until the episodes are about ready to air and we get episode summaries to go with them, but seeing an episode title like “Kiki’s Pizza Delivery Service” makes us wonder if some of these might be working titles (we know the Crewniverse loves Studio Ghibli, but that name might be too direct an homage). Fusion Cuisine was published to CartoonNetwork.com as “Fusion Crime” after all, and Onion Friend was even listed as “Old Friend” to at least one TV listing service in the leadup to #StevenBomb3.

I thought there was more? I remember reading “Kindergarten Kid” and “Bubbled” and I’m pretty sure I read about a 3-parter.

Yeah, what about these? Beta Part 1 • Earthlings Part 2 • Back 2 the Moon Part 3 • Bubbled • The Kindergarten Kid • Gem Harvest • Know Your Fusion • Tiger Philanthropist • Last One Out of Beach City

The episodes I listed were the ones left standing on Cartoon Network’s website on Friday night and are still all up. I can’t say with any confidence what was up there earlier because I didn’t screenshot it myself since I wanted to wait and see if they left it before taking any action.

As for a triumphant return of Tiger Millionaire? I want to believe.

  1. Hmm…. I saw these on Wikipedia and thought they were fake, but, well, now I know they’re not.

If this is what Season 2 is going to end up being, then, well……we’re in for a hell of a ride.

We already knew we were in for a wild ride. Knowing the episode titles just makes us giddy because we can wonder what’s going on in those episodes, then be astonished at how wrong we were after the episodes air. 🙂

Time for everybody’s favorite show, guess the story!

Same Old World – A look at the daily lives of Beach City’s citizens from the perspective of the Gems.
Hit the Diamond – Steven has flashbacks about Yellow Diamond through Rose’s memories brought on by a carnival game where you have to hit a diamond target.
Steven Floats – Steven discovers his ability to glide.
Too Short to Ride – Steven and Connie fuse (or even Steven and Petey) to ride a new ride at Funland, teaching Connie/Petey that some rules are made to be broken.
Drop Beat Dad – Marty returns.
Mr. Greg – Greg turns into a serious adult when he applies for a new job.
The New Lars – Lars becomes a nice guy, for a short time.
Beach City Drift – Steven attends a street race with the cool kids.
Restaurant Wars – Kofi and Mr. Fryman settle their differences.
Kiki’s Pizza Delivery Service – Kiki totals the car so Steven lets her use Lion to make deliveries.
    Monster Reunion – Centibeetle, definitely.
Alone at Sea – Lapis and Jasper argue while fused.
Greg the Babysitter – Greg looks after Steven, Connie, Petey, and Onion for the day.
    Gem Hunt – Peridot episode.
Crack the Whip – Amethyst awakens to her latent battle instincts.
Steven vs Amethyst – Just as it sounds.

If Monster Reunion isn’t about the centipeetle then all of the local fans are going to picket the Cartoon Network offices.
