GC13, Dakota, and Ken discuss the mobile game for Steven Universe, Attack the Light.
It’s a fun dungeon crawl RPG with excellent blurbs from all of the characters. What more could you want for $3? Each character has their specific uses in battle, and if you really want to win a fight you can fuse the Crystal Gems into Alexandrite and smack everyone down.
Of course Dakota also has to come out with some vigorous support of Amethyst after not being around to defend her during last week’s podcast.
Oh, and one more thing: The Game.

I didn’t lose I just… don’t have the game yet. To the App Store!
I play this game way to much when I should be working at work!
It took me a while to get used to the timing on the tap/double tap attack mechanic but it’s def. beautiful and I love the music and voice acting.
I didn’t use the guitar at all and I actually didn’t use a lot of items either, they just piled up.
my fave attacks:
Garnet’s rocket launcher is OP, you just have to time it right to actually hit the target.
Pearl’s thrown spear actually does through and through so you can hit two or three if they’re lined up.
Amethyst’s spindash has a chance to knock an enemy out of the ring which can end a battle if it’s the last one left.
I don’t think the gems are NOT aware that he’s a strong gem, probably just that he isn’t in CONTROL of his power. It is the same gem as Rose’s, so the gem itself isn’t any weaker.
Dakota I’m the same for game time.
And I need you to know that I hate you arguing about which gem is better and lobbing low blows at each of them in turn because they’re ALL amazing and if you’ve been PAYING ATTENTION you would know that.
What? I just lost? Bah. I preferred the “We’re content creators! We don’t care about the fans!” sign off. 😉 Bonus: It’s a sign off that’s just been further confirmed by your use of The Game.
I mean, you haven’t lost me, as I’ve just spent the better part of a day binging on this site’s content…
Finally: You’re all wrong, Steven is the best gem – bar none. =D
