GC13, Ken, and Hunter discuss the new episode, Reformed. With Dakota gone, Ken has a chance to take revenge for the Shirt Club podcast. GC13 also can’t say numbers well.
The personality quirks of the Crystal Gems are discussed, as is the temple and the writing process of a Steven Universe episode. (When talking about the writing process, this interview is mentioned.) Gem forms are also mentioned, both their ability to be “overclocked” and their function as a constant reminder of past defeats.
Even though it looks like the summer hiatus has started, we’re going to stay right here with weekly episodes. Make sure to check back on May 11 for a new episode of the podcast!

I cannot believe yall didn’t mention Amethyst’s “Pearl Form” !! That was the funniest joke of the episode for me lol! That moment when she turns and you see that ridiculous hair! hahah
Regular here, keep up the good work guys!
Also, I would totally be up for a Samurai Jack episode of the podcast. I just saw that they had all the seasons on Hulu Plus (as opposed to Netflix, which had only the first) and I’ve been watching them back-to-back.
Such a good show.
youve been watching them
back to back?
Back to the past?
Samurai Jack?
This joke is not receiving the appreciation it deserves.
An episode where the Temple’s Heart is “broken” and Steven’s Gem is the only thing that can fix it.
Also, is Greg okay? He seemed sad today.
Last time we saw him he had bags under his eyes after Steven broke the news about Jailbreak to him, he seems to be in need of a second job (Guitar Dad) and he “doesn’t understand anything anymore”. Is he depressed?
If you’ll notice, you’ll see that as the Gems each reformed, they took on their prior forms before finally becoming their current form. Pearl turned into her “Story for Steven” form and original form before turning into her current form.
Amethyst turned into all the forms that she had been in that episode before she decided on her current form while she was still glowing and stuff.
Seems like Gems have kind of an autosave or something.
If you’ll notice, Amethyst kicks a copy of Greg’s CD in her room, as well as a copy of The No Home Boys. Also why didn’t you address Garnet having no hands when she shot her gauntlets? Speaking of her Gauntlets, they’ve changed since her redesign. There’s no star on the bottom where her hands go in anymore, they’re just solid yellow now.
Also, Amethyst uses the word “Loquaciously”.
Amethyst said something like- “Check me out Garnet. How do you feel about mixing it up with this” when she turned into that muscle form lol
I think you guys are missing of Amethyst’s character.
I’ve been noticing since “On the Run” and sub subsequent episodes; Amethyst only get’s really emotional when someone brings up her self be it her personality, past and present actions, etc. and as such she hates talking about herself it seems. Note her reaction when Steven starts asking her questions on the personality quiz.
Otherwise Amethyst is pretty chill for anything else that goes on.
The fan art has come! I did two in one: Batman Mayor Dewey VS Viking Pearl. It’s my first fan art though, so could have been better. Still, enjoy! https://plus.google.com/111328235046442338883/posts/5mPmyaPpG3o
Sweet! You are officially the best person.
Thanks!
How about you guys decide to pick out any episode from Steven Universe before On the Run to discuss about?
