Don’t worry bro, none of this is canon.
Well that makes our job pretty easy this week, now doesn’t it? 😉
Other than that… Well, it happened. Without it being canon there can’t be lore implications of any kind, and yet… Well, they slipped in confirmation of at least one fun fact for us: how Steven uses his gem powers. We’ll see if we can spin that into a full-length article, but it’s just confirmation of a pattern that had been observed before.

Soooooo…all those months of the Crewniverse saying the episode was canon was just setup for the biggest April Fool’s prank in cartoon history.
And even in a crackfic non-canon crossover episode, we get some sort of information.
Well played, Crewniverse, well played.
Well that’s a relief, though this episode was a lot better than I was expecting it to be.
Oh, and don’t forget that they showed us the difference in landmasses in Steven’s universe Earth and ours when their heads started to float around the globe in space
Oh, wow, that was great. Perfect mixture of both show’s styles (probably more of UG in it with all the goofiness). I love it when shows get self-aware with this stuff, and this is no exception. And Pearl freaking out to the max, well, I was just fine with it. I’m pretty sure that was their way of poking fun at how she’s the most emotional of the bunch, but in the exaggerated format of the episode obviously.
In any case, this was some much needed comic relief to SU, especially after all that happened with StevenBomb.
Oh, and if anyone’s interested, Buzzfeed set up a nice collection of moments from the show thus far titled, “Everything You Needed To Know About Steven Universe.” It’s pretty much just a bunch of GIFs, but I loved looking through it. http://t.co/evLvGKDV9W
Uncle Grandpa’s entrance was a bit disturbing… I like that Amethyst ate Pizza Steve though. 🙂
