It’s a very juicy promo, so there’s plenty to be excited about, even if the episode descriptions don’t leave much room for heavy plot to happen. Where there’s a beach, there’s a story (or something like that).

How did we do? If you want to find out you’ll just have to watch the episodes and then listen to us (or the reverse!).

The new episodes are on the app and on demand

The next Steven Torpedo has been launched and the following episodes are now up on the app and in the on-demand sections of various cable providers:

  • The Big Show
  • Pool Hopping
  • Letters to Lars

As expected you will require a login with your cable provider’s information if you want to watch them on the Cartoon Network app.

Here are the episodes unlocked on the Cartoon Network app and website, available for viewing without logging in with a cable provider:

With five full episodes already unlocked, this means that when the new episodes are released they will probably require you to log in to watch them.

A two-parter will cap off the new episodes’ weekly releases on May 7

Geek Girl Authority and The Futon Critic are both in agreement: when the four episodes hitting the app on March 26 reach TV starting on April 9, they will be weekly. Geek Girl Authority also gives us big news: May 7 will see a big two-parter air on TV.

Most of the big stuff we’ve seen in the trailer is probably from the two-parter. Probably. We’ll find out soon enough.

Here’s when everything will air, in the 7:30 PM EDT time slot:

  • April 9, 2018 – Your Mother and Mine: Steven takes Garnet to meet some of his new friends.
  • April 16, 2018 – The Big Show: Steven shoots a documentary that follows a local band as they get their first big break.
  • April 23, 2018 – Pool Hopping: Garnet and Steven explore the most unlikely timelines in Beach City.
  • April 30, 2018 – Letters to Lars: Steven writes about the latest news of Beach City.
  • May 7, 2018 – Unnamed Two-Parter

New episodes will be up on the app on Monday, March 26

Cartoon Network has good news for us: two weeks before the episodes air on TV, the new episodes will be up for viewing on the Cartoon Network app.

Usually when new episodes go up on the app they’re also sent out to the cable companies’ on-demand sections as well, but we don’t have to wait long to find out whether that will happen this time.

There’s an exciting trailer to go with the tweet, but be warned: while it starts off as a recap, it’s a very, very spoiler-filled trailer. You have been warned.

It’s sweet and may or may not feature the first kiss Princess Bubblegum gives to Finn (not even the crew of Adventure Time knows).

If you manage to sit through the commentary track’s opening (including a three minute and thirty second ukulele solo by Pendleton Ward) there are also tidbits of info, like where Ms. Sugar got two of the lines from the episode.

Also featuring a bonus discussion of Will Smith as per Sophia’s request. 🙂

GC13 and David discuss the questions they want answers to after being promised some answers by the tweet accompanying the twelve-second promo for new episodes scheduled to arrive on April 9.

We still know so little about the Diamonds, especially White Diamond though Pink is still quite new to us as well. Homeworld is also still quite mysterious, both in how it works and why it does what it does.
