Immediate reaction to Now We’re Only Falling Apart

Oh my, that was quite the tasty lore episode, wasn’t it?

A lot of blanks are filled in, and even some unspoken facts about recent revelations have been spoken. We learned a lot about the Famethyst with the designations of just a couple of Amethysts, and there is definitely more we’ll be considering.

It’s only the first episode and we’ve already learned so much.

Lunar Sea Spire podcast episode 198: The Heart of the Crystal Gems commercial

GC13, Isabelle, and David discuss the super-spoilery commercial for the Heart of the Crystal Gems bomb, as well as the bingo card Cartoon Network posted for it.

Reunited will be a two-parter episode, meaning that after this bomb there should be two more episodes left in the season (assuming they don’t cut the season down to twenty-four episodes), so no matter how crazy the bomb gets there’s always plenty of room for even more craziness.

The bomb starts today and runs through Friday. Are you hyped?

New promo for Heart of the Crystal Gems

While the promo we got last week was certainly intriguing (enough to do a podcast episode about it!), it certainly wasn’t as… Spicy as the commercial that is now running on Cartoon Network. Please hit that Continue Reading button if you’d like to see it (it’s one of those times where even the thumbnail contains some serious spoilers).

Get hype.

Lunar Sea Spire podcast episode 197: The Heart of the Crystal Gems promo

GC13, Isabelle, and David discuss the promo for the upcoming Steven Bomb, entitled Heart of the Crystal Gems.

The future may not be nothing but Ruby, but you can be sure there will be a lot of Ruby in the upcoming episodes. The closest thing we’ve seen to this episode was the Sardonyx arc, but surely there will be some serious twists this time around. Perhaps Ruby and Peridot can commiserate?

Where did Sapphire run off to though? I guess we’ll find out.

The Futon Critic has the good news: on July 2 we’ll be getting the start of another five-episode bomb entitled “Heart of the Crystal Gems”, with the show airing a new episode at 7:30 PM EDT each night of the week.

Not only are there five episodes, but there are two new songs which will be available for purchase after their episodes air, and on August 14 we’ll be getting a new DVD which will collect the bomb, A Single Pale Rose, and more.

Check their article to see the preview video of the bomb!

Lunar Sea Spire podcast episode 196: Craig of the Creek

GC13 and David discuss Mass Burnett and Ben Levin’s new show, Craig of the Creek (he’s gonna save the da-a-a-ay!).

There were high hopes for Craig of the Creek and it’s definitely delivered (they can’t help it if they make a scene), though we can of course hope for a dream-fueled crossover rather than just hearing Craig sing the Little Butler theme to himself.

If you haven’t watched it, then you really should give it a try.
