Here comes a thought: have we seen other fusions hallucinate?
Mindful Education has made us mostly wonder about previous episodes of the show: we’ve seen what it looks like from the inside when Stevonnie is under stress and hallucinating, but we’ve seen other fusions de-fuse as well. Have any of them been hallucinating at the time of their de-fusion?
What we learned from Mindful Education
Fusion episode = Fusion facts! Finally we know a bit more about what we’ve seen going on inside Stevonnie’s head, and we’ve seen a bit of what’s going on in the deeper portions of Steven’s head (his Vault, if you’ll permit the reference to Adventure Time).

Immediate reaction to Mindful Education
Mindful Education was definitely a character episode. It doesn’t look like we got much lore or speculation out of it, but we should definitely get some mileage out of the close look at fusion we got (we don’t get nearly enough of those).

So, this episode had drama; it had adventure; it had lions! (And shushing!) We can’t know what the story behind the lions is yet, but it’s a pretty sure bet that we’ll learn at some point.
Also, there is another mystery: where exactly is the Buddwick Public Library? It’s not in the main area of Beach City we’ve seen in the show, but it must be part of Beach City. Perhaps it’s near the movie theater…
Now if only we could get some fanart of some jubilant Rubies carrying Jasper around and singing about how great she is…
