Lunar Sea Spire podcast episode 48: Sadie’s Song

PodcastTitleSophia, Ken, and GC13 (and Hunter!) discuss the new episode and pop music factory: Sadie’s Song. How many times have you listened to Haven’t You Noticed (I’m a Star)?

This makes two episodes in a row where a character’s mother has featured prominently, so maybe we’ve finally fixed Beach City’s dearth of mothers. We also finally got a Sadie episode without Lars as an important character!

Of course the episode had to have a surprise twist to resolve the tension built up throughout the episode, so we got Steven singing while wearing Sadie’s outfit; Lars, not content to be anonymous, decided to be the only person at the concert not to pay attention. The Internet paid more than enough attention to make up for him though.

I love Steven. This episode was so important to me honestly. He rocked that dress, he was happy, it wasn’t played off as a joke. A new favourite episode.

    Sophia’s got a nice voice o:

I miss Dakota, I hope he’s doing alright!

Hey, what if the timelin so far has been in Gem Homeworld years? What if six thousand homeworld years actually means one or two thousand earth years. That would clear up most discrepancies

It is interesting that in the promo artwork for Catch and Release, Peridot is hiding in the restroom.

Don’t get too excited: the promo art for Open Book featured Pearl talking to Ruby and Sapphire, and Historical Friction had Peridot in its promo art helping to paint the sign while Lapis looked out the gym doors.
