GC13, Ken, and Hunter discuss Steven’s Lion, the source of a two great enigmas: Lion and the Desert Glass. At least with the Desert Glass it’s okay to not know much about it, but since he’s been an important character in so many episodes Lion must put some serious effort into being enigmatic.
There are a few theories out there about Lion, but no real way to be sure what his deal. He definitely has something to do with Rose, though. It’s why he’s pink, after all.

I would love to see Lars save the day! I really hope that happens. As for Lion, I think maybe he is a gem that served rose but he didnt always look like that. Maybe his gem got corrupted but he kept himself or part of himself and was still able to serve rose. If that is true then I would like hume to be a Kunzite or a Morganite but I do lend to the theory you guys brought up in the cast to be way more likely. I just want to see more gems in general. I really hope centipedal is a serpintine, what do you guys think?
Yep that looks about right. (I really hope this replies properly.) The most likely way we are going to get any new gems in this half of season two is if Steven manages to help her in preparation for the midseason finale. I hope we get to see more gems near beach city.(or a the very, as little as possible, least, get to see suitcase Sam as a character

My theory about Lion is that he IS Bismuth and that Rose bubbled his Gem/Metal inside of his own inner dimension to make him tame since he was corrupted.
Rather than a cat with a pop tart body and a rainbow behind him, we’ll have Lion with a Cookie Cat body and rose petals behind him.
