In the second episode of the podcast Hunter joins the crew after losing a Super Smash Brothers tournament. Horror Club is the subject of this week’s podcast, and the crew has a lot of questions: what should the Ronaldo x Sadie ship be named, why is Ronaldo so weird, and what does the diamond mean? Things get so confusing, even the meanings of “earliest” and “latest” become flexible!
Everyone is really excited for what the gem revealed at the end of Horror Club could mean for the future of the series. To think, such plot potential included in an episode focused on side characters.

The winter forecast snowball joke…I’m so done…I’m also going to be using ruse cruise. A lot.
Another interesting discussion! It really is so funny that gem stuff seems this normal to humans, and how disappointed Ronaldo is when paranormal stuff is “run-o’-the-mill gem magic”. I can’t wait to find out when and how gems started interfering with human history (but also staying away from them), even beyond our burning questions about the gem conflict. The point you made about Lapis also reminded me just how long she was in that mirror! Man oh man, I hadn’t thought about that for awhile…2000 years is…wow. Recently I’ve seen discussion about her being almost child-like (and doll-like) in design and attitude so viewers sympathize with her, so it makes me wonder how old she is in comparison to the others! I love Lapis a lot oh gosh haha
2 quick questions: 1) Do you guys have any other social media we can follow, and 2) Do you have any other blog reccomendations for discussions and theories? I’d love to know what you think!

As for social media, I can’t speak for the others but all I really have is a Twitter account I barely use. Someone passed a link around of what any Tumblr accounts the Crystal Gems set up might look like and mine looks a lot like Garnet’s: a blank default setup. I’m pretty much all about /r/stevenuniverse for my Steven Universe discussion needs.
I think Ronaldo ‘s weirdness and interest in the paranormal is because everyone is so lax on whatever the gems happen to be doing. Being influenced by gem activity as a kid he is pretty much obsessed with that stuff. That’s my reasoning anyway. Oh and both Sadie and Lars have seen Steven use his powers before on that island adventure episode and Ronaldo is aware of his gem relationship by now so that answers why they aren’t weirded out by that. I don’t wanna think that the lighthouse gem was a diamond but we’ll have to wait till the show brings it up again.
