GC13 and Sophia discuss an old favorite: Monster Buddies. Centipuppy forever! (Eventually…)
As the first episode of the (unofficial) Saliva Saga, this is the first inkling we get of Steven as a healer (though it won’t be until next week that we discuss the episode that really delves into it).
It’s also a touching story of Steven making a new best friend, though unfortunately that best friend has been sitting in a bubble unmentioned for more than a season now. When could we be getting a centipeetle arc? Sure, we already have a green Crystal Gem now, but we can make this work!

I have a tiny theory! In open book we learned that the falcon familiar turns into a human and Married the grl from the unfamiliar familiar then in Rose’s room Steven is the falcon.

Also when Centipeetle regenerated she was definitely tall, I’d place her to around mid-Garnet/Pearl height.

As for language, the Gems have been around for thousands of years, so it’s reasonable to expect they’ve at least picked up some stuff from various languages. Amethyst being the most involved in human culture also makes her more likely to know and use other languages.
Regarding food and SU, I’m still surprised “if pork chops were perfect, we wouldn’t have hotdogs” hasn’t been brought back. It only had a passing mention in Ocean Gem, yet it perfectly encapsulates one of the show’s core lessons.
I think hair should count with height. Look at garnet ,Peridot and Sardonix, we wouldn’t measure there height with counting the hair.
I don’t see how those characters affect things. Hair shouldn’t count with height. Consider the limitations of Gem base forms. Amethyst is limited to a certain height, but she can change her hair from super short to extremely long.
but sardonyx is a fusion its just an effection from pearl+garnets hair short hair+short hair
i fell like corrupted gems need to be healed from the inside like give it feels and heal it emotionally you can see it taking a smaller form and even almost a humanoid form for a sec it didnt want to scare Steven cuz Steven didnt want centipeedle either
